Free topic: abortion

Since the military dictatorship that our country suffered for 17 years our moral and ethical view points have changed towards a really conservative perspective. As a result from that, there's a lot of people that this late in the 21th century still believes a cells group is a human life and that abortion is killing. For me it's hard to understand the conservative's perspective since from a biological view point, the so-called baby that you'd be killing by choosing for abortion it's nothing more than that, a cells group, without nervous system those cells can't even feel pain, even less think by themselves and without a conciousness for me it's hard to think of something as human. I think that what determines us as human beings is our consciousness, even more than our biological species, and as that, for me an IA Robot or computer deserves to be called a human being a lot more than a baby who's not developed it's nervous system.


Apart from that I think that the decision to have or not to have babies should be a women's right, it's their body the one that's going to suffer all the transformations that being pregnant means, all the social implications and life affections that being a mother also means and there shouldn't be someone able to decide wheter they have or not the baby besides themselves. The freedom to make choices over our lifes it's something that supposedly god gave us, and I think it's quite ironic how the people that's in opossition to abortion legalization use words from the same god that has given us freedom to make choices the ones that are trying to negate that right, only to womens, and without any decent argument.

I don't like to talk about paranormal experiences since I don't really believe in them, but even from the position of someone who doesn't think of paranormal things as a reality there's somethings that doesn't really makes sense, and as an example for that I'll use a story from 8 years ago. A country I would like to visit

While there's a lot of places I'd really like to visit someday, there's a country, and more specifically, a city that I'd really like to go. That city is Kyoto, the old Japanese capital. Kyoto was for a very long time the capital of Japan, and because of that, it has one of the richest cultural heritage in the country, being the religious and cultural capital of the country. Besides that, as an architecture student Kyoto's particulary interesting because of it's urban design and harmonious coexistence between the old imperial architecture and the contemporary one, who merges into a really interesting place to visit. The planet is in danger, that's something that everyone should know and it's probably that way. By this moment, there's little to no people who can denied that our planet has suffered desolating consecuences caused by our irresponsability and greed. In that way, our country, Chile, is one of the most affected ones in the continent.
